For Carol Weidemann, finding her "hot spot" in 2008 may have saved her life.
"I had this spot on my back that hurt when I touched it," the West Union woman remembered. "I re-ferred to it as my 'hot spot.' I went to the doctor and he thought it was muscular, so I went to a therapist, who de-termined it was not a hot spot. Then I had a CAT scan at Palmer Lutheran."
